The greatest fear of Doron Somers, the father of a child with autism, was that his son’s constant wandering would cause him harm at some point. When Somers heard of a young boy who drowned after wandering away, he decided to take action. He created wearable GPS devices and launched the brand, “Angel Sense.”

Read MoreParents of children with autism are often scared to bring their child on the spectrum to public places due to their child having sensory overload and due to being fearful of the dirty looks they may receive from onlookers. The National Autistic Society is trying to lessen the blow of these meltdowns by educating people about what sensory overload is like from the perspective of a child experiencing it.
