A Letter to Nike about Their First Shoe for People With Disabilities
In this letter a young man with Autism writes to Nike to thank them for developing their Zoom Soldier 8, a shoe for individuals with disabilities. Due to the man’s motor difficulties, he was unable to tie his shoes on his own until he was 13. Although with therapy he has now overcome many of his motor difficulties, he can’t help but think about how these Nike shoes will impact individuals growing up in similar situations.
