PBS To Broadcast Autism Documentary

Nava Silton

In the new documentary “Spectrum: A Story of the Mind,” viewers will get a first hand look at the sensory experiences of individuals on the autism spectrum. The documentary takes a look at autism through the lens of the five senses, taste, touch, smell, sight and sound. The film uses both animation and live action to tell the stories of a range of individuals on the spectrum including well-known autism advocate Temple Gradin, a nonverbal poet and a martial artist. The documentary is 23 minutes long and will air starting on April 4th on PBS stations across the country. Learn more about the documentary here
