'Caroline's Cart' for kids with special needs to be available nationwide
A shopping cart that has been life-changing for parents of children with disabilities is going nationwide. Caroline’s Cart was designed by an Alabama mother, Drew Anne, who found it difficult to control a shopping cart and her daughter’s wheel chair at the same time. The cart has a larger safety seat for bigger children. Caroline’s Cart has been available at small stores, but has been recently picked up by mega-store, Target. Thousands of Target stores across the country will have Caroline’s Cart available for parents with kids with disabilities. Drew Anne hopes to one day have the carts available at all retailers so that everyone can have an equal opportunity to have a pleasant shopping experience, no matter where they shop.
